Complementing Bryan’s expertise and professional approach to physical fitness is the breadth and depth of his nutritional wisdom. The marriage of his professional background in fitness and his training as a chef took Bryan from not only creating excellent meals and meal plans, but also the point of developing and producing a complete lineup of healthy high protein / low carbohydrate foods of uncompromising quality. In his holistic understanding, Bryan remains truly ahead of his time as the pharmaceutically oriented medical community is slowly admitting and coming to terms with facts long known by scientific research, that incomplete, improper and misleading nutritional and fitness information remains a mainstay of the popular culture for most people and hampers the ability of many to find lasting health.

He believes sincerely in the potential of each to identify and break through barriers that are keeping him/her from achieving his/her full potential.

In the gym, Kurt is a slave driver. He demands your total involvement in your sessions, mentally, emotionally, and physically. You're in his power for the session, and he'll push you to your limit…and beyond. Basing his approach on ongoing research into the newest discoveries about fitness, nutrition, and hormone rebalancing through natural means, Kurt strives to bring his best to each session, and he's ready with his knowledge and passion to help his clients at any time. He expects results and holds himself, as well as you, responsible for getting them.

Dr. Sharon Dhaliwal

Dr. Sharon Dhaliwal has recently joined the Weights team in conjunction with her own private clinic Backs in Action Wellness Centre.

Dr. Dhaliwal graduated in Sept 2005 from Western States Chiropractic College where she obtained a Doctor of Chiropractic Degree. In addition to her doctorate, she completed her BSc. at the University of British Columbia.

Dr. Dhaliwal employs a wide variety of treatments specifically tailored for each individual.

The stresses of work, commuting, deadlines and poor posture have an extremely detrimental effect on the body. Dr. Sharon Dhaliwal is dedicated to helping patients bodies cope better with these stresses, and coaching her patients towards a healthier lifestyle. In order to achieve this goal, Dr. Dhaliwal utilizes the most beneficial, up-to-date chiropractic techniques, postural correction methods, wellness coaching and custom fit orthotics.

It is her belief that your healing process is unique to you. Everyone has their own personal dilemma to solve and their own healing process to unfold. Hans De la Pena
Personal Trainer

Han's motivation to fuller health led him to the breadth of different modalities of exercise such as Pilates, kickboxing, and weight training. The superior self-esteem, fitness and health goals attained through weight training got him hooked.

By having gone through a consistent weight training program at Weights that transformed him physically and emotionally, Hans was inspired to help others by becoming directly involved in their fitness progress. It was a natural evolution given his background in health care, having trained and worked in laboratory medicine, and his desire to have a more personal impact on the wellbeing of others.

Hans believes in continuous improvement and openness to learning more about holistic health through fitness, nutrition, and stress management. His goal is to share his experience to help others reach their personal fitness goals.
